How eBay fees work in 2026

eBay's selling fees changed a lot recently. Private sellers in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Australia now pay no final value fee on most domestic sales — eBay charges buyers a Buyer Protection fee instead. Business sellers pay a final value fee (a category percentage of the total sale), a small per-order fee, and — in the EU — a payment-processing fee. The US and Canada charge all sellers a final value fee.

This calculator uses the current published rates for each marketplace. For a full breakdown by category, see our eBay UK fees guide.
