How does the AI listing generator work? +
VaultSeller uses Claude AI (Anthropic) to generate an SEO-optimised title (up to 80 characters, front-loaded with the most searchable keywords) and a concise, persuasive description — directly on the eBay listing create and edit page. Just paste your current title, add optional details, and hit Generate. Free users get 5 generations per month; Pro users get unlimited.
What is the VeRo brand checker? +
eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRo) programme lets brand owners request the removal of listings that infringe their rights. VaultSeller checks your listing title against 150+ known VeRo brands and flags them as High, Medium, or Low risk — before you list. This helps you avoid unexpected listing removals and potential account restrictions.
How do real eBay analytics work? +
Pro users can connect their eBay seller account in the Settings tab. VaultSeller uses eBay's official Finances API to fetch your actual transaction data — the real fees eBay charged, your real net payout, and a 30-day revenue chart. This replaces the estimated dashboard that free users see. Connection uses secure OAuth — VaultSeller never sees your eBay password.
Does VaultSeller work on eBay US, Australia, and Canada? +
Yes — VaultSeller works on eBay UK, US, AU, and CA. Set your preferred eBay site in Settings. Fee calculations default to UK rates.
How does VaultSeller get sold price data? +
VaultSeller uses eBay's official Finding API — the same data eBay provides to authorised developers. This is stable, reliable, and compliant with eBay's terms of service. Results are cached server-side for 6 hours so repeated searches are instant and don't consume API quota.
Is a login required to use VaultSeller? +
No. All free features (profit calculator, VeRo checker, shipping calculator, sold history, search badges) work without signing in. An account is required for Pro features and to connect your eBay account for real analytics.
Will VaultSeller slow down my eBay browsing? +
No. VaultSeller uses shadow DOM injection so it never interferes with eBay's own code. All API calls run asynchronously in the background. The UI appears after the page has loaded and never blocks navigation.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription? +
Yes, cancel anytime from your account page or directly from the Paddle customer portal. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked.
What data does VaultSeller collect? +
VaultSeller collects only what's needed: your email for authentication, your watchlist items if you use that feature, and anonymous session stats (listings viewed — never which ones). The AI feature sends only your listing title text to our secure server for processing. No browsing history is stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
