How to See What an Item Sold For on eBay (2026)

Before you list — or buy to resell — the single most useful number is what similar items actually sold for, not what hopeful sellers are asking. Here are two free ways to check eBay sold prices in 2026.

Method 1: the eBay "Sold items" filter (free, manual)

1. Search for the item on eBay as normal.
2. Scroll down the left sidebar to Show only.
3. Tick Sold items (and Completed items if shown).
4. The results now show recently sold listings with their final sale price and the date sold. Sold prices appear in green.

Tip: refine your keywords to match the exact model, size and condition — a "Nike Air Max 90 UK 10" search gives a far tighter price range than just "Nike trainers". Sort by Ended recently to see the freshest data.
